Thanks for the encouragment. Wish I could say things are getting better, but the migraines seem to be a daily event now, I'm lucky if I get one day without pain. Neuro has said there is nothing more they can do, and wants me to see MH and check into bio-feedback, I'll play along, and do everything they ask, in hopes that the outcome is positive, either less headaches or a higher rating.

Wish I could figure out how to better deal with the pain because even that seems different. Husband and kids are fed up.

Ya I know what you mean. At my last appointment I told my neuro that they were getting worse (much like you very few days without pain) and there is not a whole lot more he can do. He keeps trying different meds as "preventives" but none of them help. I have my vicodin (which does not even help with the migraines, and is hardly working at all anymore) And stadol nose spray, which is to help keep me out of the ER.I actually got "sick" two months before my husband and I got married,so he does not know a marriage without me being tha way I am.......but he is coping.

I am interested to know how you got them to listen to you about your migraines and give you P/T I/U. I am rated 50% for Migraines, and applied for I/U about five years ago, appealed and was still turned down. They continue to worsen, and I absolutely can not work.

My last full time job I was fired during my probationary period due to missing to much work. I most recently worked assisting my mother-in-law in managing a convenience store but gave that up because I was missing so much time and she always had to cover for me. Sad part is, I went through CH31 and got my Bachelors then paid for my Masters on my own, and can't use either one. I occassionally help my mom-in-law a couple hours now and then but the headaches are so frequent that I don't last more than that. They are litteraly a daily event now.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ya know, I am not really sure how I got them to listen to me. It may have been the records of me being in the ER so many times due to the migraines, or realizing nothing really helps to relieve them. Or the fact that I get atleast 5 a week.....I think it all really has to do with your doctor though. I have a laundry list of other issues though as well, and I know that really played into the IU decision. I wish I had better advise, but I honestly was not expecting to get IU the first time around, or to get my 80% rating right after I got out of the military, I was prepared to fight for everything.
Hope things look up for you and the docs realize what is going on.
